Dr. Piszczek was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She didn’t move far from home for college, as she attended Rockhurst University here in Kansas City. Following graduation, she jumped right into medical school at the University of Kansas. During this time she met a charming fellow medical student, named Chris, who would soon become her husband.

Dr. Piszczek continued her residency training at the University of Kansas. It was there that she found her love for minimally invasive surgery, both laparoscopic and vaginal. She is a strong patient advocate, placing emphasis on patient education.

She and Chris fill their free time with their daughter, Lina Rae. Together, they enjoy cooking and traveling, as well as spoiling their dog Beau.
