Since becoming board certified in 1982 Dr. Batty has maintained his medical practice in Johnson County, Kansas. As a native of Raytown, Missouri, his roots are in the Kansas City area and he feels pride in his ability to deliver quality care to the women of this region. Trained at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Dr. Batty won awards for excellence in patient care as a medical student and resident in obstetrics/gynecology.

Although patients have been under Dr. Batty’s care for over 20 years, he still feels a jolt of excitement delivering babies as well as great satisfaction in helping his patients cope with the changes age brings. A large percentage of his professional time is dedicated to helping women through the menopausal stages of their lives and he utilizes a variety of medical approaches to assist them through this transitional period.

Dr. Batty’s passion is cheering for his beloved University of Kansas Jayhawks. When not attending Jayhawk games, he continues to work on his golf game. Dr. Batty has two sons.
